Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread, sliced lengthwise
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Grated Parmesan, for finishing

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a small bowl, mix the butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.

    Spread the mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread.

    Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden and fragrant.

    For the last minute, switch on the broiler to crisp the top. Watch closely.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan, slice, and serve warm.
